【活动方案】
一、教学目标
(一)语言知识
1. 四会词汇:weather / wet / windy / put on / zero / yesterday / sunny / cloudy / rain / raincoat / bye-bye / bye / New Zealand / sound / snowy / ski / warm / rainy / cool
2. 三会词汇:temperature / degree / umbrella / foggy.
3. 句型(谈论温度、天气、季节):
(1) What's the weather like (today)?
(2) —What's the weather like in…? —It's…
(3) —What's the temperature? —It's …
(4) —What will the weather be like tomorrow? —It will be…
4. 语法:(1)描述天气名词与其形容词之间的关系;(2)初步掌握温度的正确读法。
5. 语音:能掌握Sound families的音标,并能正确拼读音标词。
(二)语言技能
1. 能初步听懂天气预报中的天气情况。
2. 能理解对话,并连贯朗读,语音、语调和停顿基本正确,基础好的学生能表演对话。
3. 能在交际情景中初步讨论天气、温度、和季节。
(三)学习策略
1. 充分利用书中插图、实物、歌曲、歌谣、游戏等资源,在乐中学,在活动中学会与他人合作。
2. 对话采用情景教学,联系生活实际。
3. 单词量大、多,学生应借助语音知识来拼读单词,学会归类比较来进行忆记。
(四)情感态度
1. 通过谈及天气的话题,培养学生观察天气的能力。
2.通过学习,激发学习兴趣,在语言实践中逐步形成主动参与、乐于探索的学习态度。
(五)文化意识
通过学习,懂得如何用英语来描述天气,掌握温度的英语读法。
二、教学重点
1. 掌握四会词汇,如拼写weather, sunny, cloudy.
提问的句型及对话教学。如:No, it isn't, but it's quite cloudy and it's going to rain.
2. 正确地说出每天的天气情况以及当天的温度。
三、教学难点
理解天气与季节相关对话,并运用所学词句作简单的天气预报。
四、教学准备
天气图片、单词图片、温度计图、单词卡、VCD
五、教学过程
I. Warming up
1. Listen and sing The Wind and Rain.
2. Listen and chant the Rhyme.
II. Pre-task
1. 师生一起做动作复习已学单词:hot, warm, cool, cold.
2. 用自制的图片学习:
用句型:—What's the weather like? —It's sunny / snowy / cloudy / rainy / windy.
3. Game: to drill windy / snowy / cloudy / rainy / sunny.
4. 用天气图引出学习单词:weather
III. Presentation and Practice
1. T:Today's weather report. Today is hot, wet and cloudy. The temperature is 25℃.
并把对应的图片及温度表呈现给学生看。
学习新单词:temperature, 0℃ (zero degree centigrade)
2. Free talk: What's the weather like?
3. It's rainy.时引导学生说:Yes. It's rainy. It's raining. We must put on the raincoat. And take an umbrella. (教师做出穿衣的动作和出示雨伞的图片).
学习新词:raincoat, umbrella
4. 操练上面新单词:Play a game “大小声”.
5. 用天气图片与自制的温度计来操练句型。
(1) What's the weather like today? It's warm and sunny.
(2) What's the temperature now? It's 27℃.
出示两个别的城市的天气图,来替换操练句型。
6. Listen to the dialogue of the VCD. Then answer questions.
(1) What's the weather like in Guangzhou today?
(2) What's the temperature?
(3) Is today much colder than yesterday?
(4) Does Ben like today's weather?
(5) Is it raining?
(6) Where are they going to?
(7) What's the weather like in New Zealand?
(8) What's the temperature in New Zealand?
IV. Development
1. Listen and read in chore / groups / pairs.
2. Practice the weather report in groups.
V. Homework
1. Listen and say after the tape.
2. 同桌互相做一次天气预报员,比一比谁做得好。
3. Copy the new words.
